Accessibility

We want every parent to be able to read this site and ask a question. The site is built with WCAG 2.2 AA guidance in mind, and we treat accessibility problems as bugs.

What is in place

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
  • A “Skip to main content” link is the first focusable element.
  • Text and background colours are chosen for strong contrast.
  • Motion is not used for meaning, and reduced-motion preferences are respected.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and errors are announced and linked to the field they concern. Your text is kept if a submission fails.
  • The layout adapts from small phones to large screens without horizontal scrolling.
